Title: Use two Echos for TV audio out?
Post by: mute1 on December 11, 2018, 12:40:26 pm
Hello! I am new to using the Echo and an looking for a way that will allow me to output TVaudio from two Echos via Bluetooth rather than just one. Is this possible? I keep searching but all I find is information on either connecting a single Echo to the tv using BT or connect multiple echos together in groups for music playback but nothing for tv audio out to mutiple echos. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

At the moment the only way to output the same audio to multiple devices is via music groups and it only works with Amazon Music. Bluetooth only allows one connection for audio output or input, that is not a fault of Alexa. Unfortunately there is no server-like broadcast on a Bluetooth device.

It can be done if you buy a bt adapter that can use multiple devices or maybe even just the aux. I saw someone did it long time ago on YouTube. I'm sure you can still search it.
