Title: Smart plug to use with Echo Plus
Post by: gordonjdunbar on November 05, 2017, 04:25:31 am
Good morning

I have just bought an Echo plus and I'm confused about the best plug to use to link with the Zigbee hub.

I also have the 2nd gen Echo and obviously want it to to link there too.

Any help would be much appreciated

Many thanks

Gordon

plug????   not sure exactly what you are wanting.  something like a wemo switch???   I use wemo switches, others here uses lp-link, and there are others out there it is really a preference.  whatever you get will work with both.

i understand why you are asking. i had issues with the first two i tried, live and learn. that said with the echo+ the centralite smart outlet works great for me. the plus's hub found them each and every time. so nice just to say find new devices and be done. the most difficult part is deciding to keep the name it gives or choose one you prefer. related amazon's sengled line of bulbs, i have used two styles with the plus and they too pair up just as easily. hope that helps. :)
