Follow the instructions in the app

1 x alexa is in the lounge
1 x alexa is in the bedroom
I ask "Alexa open global player and play smooth radio"
I do this separately for both alexa
They both play the same station but are completely out of sync by about 1 minute
I have both of them on speaker group, but when i ask alexa to play the radio station on this group Im met with silence, and she carries on playing out of sync
Help please?
BTW...its radio stations I want to play on BOTH alexa but in sync with each other

Amazon Echo Discussion / Re: Hue Motion Sensors

The Hue Motion Sensors got a big update a week ago and started doing weird stuff... I went in to each sensor and set them all up to meet my previous requirements.
They added scheduling and actions adjustments up to 10 scenarios or some such thing. Go into settings>Accessories, and you will find the little indicator lit up on each motion sensor. You will likely have to do some experimentation to get the results you had before, anything from light dimming and daylight sensitivity and more... and you have to set time ranges and behavior, and then sensitivity to ambient lighting... it's a little annoying, but it actually does give more control for folks using them.

Amazon Echo Discussion / Hue Motion Sensors

I have 4 Hue outdoor motion sensors. They have all be triggering an Alexa routine in which Alexa speaks the location of the motion. Been working fine for months. All of a sudden, none of the 4 works.

They sense motion (per the Hue app).
They will turn on the lights assigned to them.
Batteries are fine.
I've turned Hue skill on/off in Alexa.
Uninstalled/reinstalled Alexa
Uninstalled/reinstalled Hue

Any suggestions? Thank you!

Thanks - voice command works on the Echo Show 10 but I have to touch it on my older iPhone.  Good excuse to get a new iPone I guess.

As for turning the screen off and muting without unplugging, I am going to try an Alexa compatible plug and turn off the Echo 10 using a voice command on my dot.

Thanks again for the reply.

nope, not that many helpers on here  so sometimes it takes time to get help if you do not want to do a simple google search to find the answers.   Basically, you need to learn the commands.

1. you can give a mute command (say alexa, mute) but just about anything will turn the screen back on because it works like a screen saver.   If you want to turn everything off, you will have to unplug it.
2.  you are giving the wrong command to the show in order to view the ring.   You do not say open, you say show.   Say alexa, show ring camera name

I have an Echo 10 gen 3.  When I tell Alexa to turn of the screen, the screen turns off.  However, when I hit the mute button on top, the screens turns back on.  Short of unplugging the device, is there a way to shut off the screen and be muted?

So far not overly impressed with my new device.  I have also linked Alexa to my Ring camera's and can view in the app.  But when I tell Alexa to open one, she responds with that camera does not support that. So to see a Camera, I have to go to my iPhone and click on it in my Favorites. What a pain.  If it is user error, then this device is harder to figure out than led to believe.

Advice appreciated. :-[

When you say you don't have to pay to see your Ring Doorbell, what do you mean?  I have a Ring Doorbell and Camera and I have to pay 11/month for it and I have Ring linked to Alexa.  Are you saying there a way around paying for the Ring device monitoring when you have Alexa?

Good Question... What I meant is I don't pay more or extra to have other access... just the annual ring plan for video "storage" I guess... No monthly due to the annual payment... I can tell the echos "Show me the front door". Of course I will say, I only have the one camera hooked up to it. I have a few blink cams and the bridge, with local storage only for other video camera monitoring... No monthly cost on those at all. I don;t know if they even offer that situation any longer...
