Title: Using more than one Echo device for same smart devices
Post by: Amorica on December 11, 2018, 06:11:34 pm
Hi everyone:

I have one echo plus which I use for some basic things, including Turing lights on and off and some basic grouping. I am going to be adding thre Echo dots (not the kids edition) for my kids.

Will the new Echos automatically be able to do the same commands etc for the lights in the house or do I need to add the smart bulbs etc to each device?

Also, can kids have a voice profile?

Thanks.
Rob

As long as the Echo dots are on the same account they will automatically do whatever your main Echo does now. And I believe all of the devices are capable of doing voice profiles.
