Title: Deregister echo dot?

I have my mother in laws echo dot registered to my amazon account, if I deregister her device will she still be able to us it?  Will we still be able to drop in on it?

Every Echo device has to be registered to an Amazon account. If you de-register a device, it cannot be used unless it is registered in another account. If it's registered to a new account, your settings or any previous settings for that Echo device will not be retained.
