Title: Echo not working
Post by: pzamory on August 11, 2018, 12:37:33 pm
Hello.  I have an older unit (tower).  There is a spinning blue light but I get no response from Alexa at all.  Looking for direction and guidance.  I have unplugged the unit, reset my router (wifi), etc. but to no avail.

Thanks.

The spinning blue light usually indicates a firmware download is happening.  Sounds like you may have interrupted the download when it it was happening.  Not sure what to do, but perhaps hold the reset button for a lengthy period?

Laurel may be right so leave it unplugged for a while - at least 5 minutes - to let the cache clear (this is what I've heard, so I'm passing it on) then plug it back in again and see if it finishes what it was doing.
