Title: Echo Dot sound delay with Bose Soundlink Mini
Post by: Eaton on April 23, 2017, 04:14:34 am
I have a second generation Echo Dot which I have had paired to a Bose Soundlink Mini (original). I purchased it around Christmas time and for the first couple months had no problems. About two months ago I started to have the first 2-3 seconds of the Alexa response getting cut off. For example if I ask what time it is silent for three seconds then says "seventeen PM". This doesn't happen with any of my other 4 bluetooth speakers and Amazon CS said that they had never heard of this happening. Has anyone ever had this happen and been able to fix it? I bought the Bose speaker specifically to have in my bedroom and it would be disappointing to not be able to use it that way.

Unplug (remove all power) the Dot and Bose for 5 minutes, then try it all again.
