Title: Routines
Post by: Esavage1 on June 03, 2021, 05:16:26 pm
How can I create a “vacation” routine that turns on a set of connected lights at sunset, but then turns off selected sets of the same lights at scheduled intervals to mimic occupancy? The schedule trigger doesn’t allow me to change the times for the “off” functions.

Use 2 routines - one to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise every day.  A separate routine to turn off certain lights on certain dates/times.  The 2nd (or 3rd, 4th, etc.) routines will still work even though the first is still running.

The Alexa Guard feature can randomly turn on/off lights when you are away.
Just enable Guard in the Alexa app. Then choose devices/lights you want Guard to control.
