Title: Turn off the light in X minutes : since when ?
Post by: Jerome on September 23, 2022, 11:53:28 am
A new feature seems to have just landed in France :
https://www.lesalexiens.fr/actualites/amazon-alexa-senrichit-de-taches-programmees-en-vocal/

It lets you turn on/off a device (lights, smart devices) with a delay with a single vocal command (no need for a routine here)
Example : "Alexa, turn off the lights in 5 minutes"

=> I was wondering when did this most awaited feature land in the US ?
(I cannot find any web page referring to this...)

Interesting! I know that a lot of people have asked for this feature. I'm in the US and I didn't know it was already available or when they did it.

I just tested it right now by saying, "Alexa, turn off kitchen in 3 minutes." Alexa responded, "OK. I will turn off kitchen in 3 minutes."
