My new echo Show5 when I ask the news it’s three days outta date why is this and how do I resolve this problem I’ve listening to same news headlines for last three days Thank you all in advance of assistance

Maybe there's no news what news provider do you have set up in the Alexa app if you never set it up you should set one up I don't know what Amazon uses for its default news provider in any case you should still set one up there are many of them to choose from you can also enable a news skill if you want i don't really use them on my Echo mainly because some of the news are either too short or too long I can't get good information anyway I just get my news on news websites or on TV
