Title: Remote control for new Echo 2nd generation
Post by: celkins on October 29, 2017, 04:07:33 pm
My new Echo 2nd generation should be delivered Tuesday. I was an early adopter of the original Echo and it came with a remote control. Does the Echo 2nd generation come with a remote control? If not, can I control both Echos using the same remote control? I learned the hard way that one Echo cannot have two remote controls paired to it, so the whole purpose of buying a new Echo 2nd generation was to gain remote access from a location other than where the first remote control is located.

there will not be a remote control with the new echo.  you cannot use the remote on two echo devices at the same time.  it can only be setup on one.
