Title: Random people connecting to my alexa
Post by: mollyjohnson on July 16, 2019, 04:10:49 pm
So every night I use my alexa dot to play white noise through spotify for my 8 month old baby. Some stupid person keeps connecting to my alexa and playing scary music through it which obviously keeps waking up the baby!!

How do i stop this so random people can’t connect to it??!!!

I can see that it is a samsung galaxy phone and the same one repeatedly doing it so they are obviously doing it on purpose. I can disconnect the phone but they are able to keep reconnecting to it

I would think it would have to be through Bluetooth connection.  I didn't think you could pair with an echo device unless you first initiated it in the app.... I would go into the app settings and "forget" all Bluetooth devices.
