Title: Echo Show 8- ok, sorry something went wrong, waiting for ring.com

Any tips on this issue?  The Echo Show "knows" when someone is at the front door, I get the audio message, but when I say to "show front door", I get "ok, sorry something went wrong, waiting for ring.com".
What should the RSSI # be on the video doorbell, and is this a reliable measure of the signal the ring is seeing?
What other troubleshooting tips should I try?
Is this an Echo Show issue, or a Ring doorbell issue?

do you have the ring skill installed in the echo app
