Title: Adding devices to Echo Dot Plus 2 gen ?
Post by: Mrcrowley1967 on February 05, 2019, 07:23:54 pm
 Hello all,
New Here and love my Echo here is my problem I am trying to link my four Mini Gosund Outlets to Echo so Alexa can operate them . I originally used smart life skills and phone app  to try to get them to work but they were not discovered by echo so I tried the Tuya Go Smart app ad skills which worked for only one outlet . Interesting thing to the Go SMart app after the echo found it no longer shows that outlet on app(not going to re connect it to app if Echo see's it) .Any ideas?

If your router is dual band, 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, you will need to turn off the 5Ghz before they will be detected by Smart Life.

Once detected the 5Ghz can be turned back on.

It is due to the 2.4 and 5 having the same SSID
