Title: Two Echos, Two homes, One prime account, One Nexia account
Post by: Sigus on October 27, 2016, 01:26:47 pm
Hello,

New to the forum and I have an interesting issue. I have two homes, one Nexia account, the account controls each home. I have an Echo at each house that works with my one prime account.

Echo will only find one of the houses. I can control Nexia remotely with Echo for only one of the homes. The issue is controlling both of the homes, is this possible? Do I need to set up a prime account for each residence?

I hope this makes sense. Any help would be much appreciated.

What is cool is when at the vacation home I can control Nexia remotely for main house with the Echo at the
vacation home.

I just thought of a better way to ask this question.

Can Echo work with two Nexia hubs, each at a different location.

I think I need to call Nexia and see what they say. If anyone is interested I will follow up with what I find out.

OK, here is what Nexia worked out after many discussions with their engineering. It will require two Amazon accounts one for each Hub / location.
