Hi everybody,
I want to introduce my private project called Smart TV Remote, which is a TV remote app for Android phones.(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adi.remote.phone (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adi.remote.phone))
Now I have implemented a corresponding skill and wanted to ask if you are interested to test this skill, which allows to control your TV/Home cinema with your Amazon Echo without buying additional hardware. You need only an Android phone with an IR blaster or a Samsung TV (B,C,D,E,F,K) Series, which can be controlled over network.
What do you think about such a skill?
If you want to test it, please write me a PM/mail.
Thank you

cant find the skill please help?

If you want to test it, please write me a PM and tell me which phone / TV do you have and tell me also your email address that you are using for the Amazon Alexa app.
I can check if your devices are compatible.
In case you have compatible hardware, I will give you further instructions to join the BEta group and to test the skill.
Would be nice to see some feedback also here in this forum for the other users.
Thanks ;)

I forgot to say that both, Skill and app is already published.
Have fun with it.

I am interested too. Just read the thread on what people are doing to get echo to work on their TV with all those mumbo jumbo they do, it's easier to just use my smart remote which also has voice control. LOL.
I actually thought you somehow was able to get into that smart remote chip/software and integrated it with echo.
My model is js8500. IS this compatible with your app? Let me know.
Found your app and skill but learned it is not compatible with my smart TV. I have the J series. So I did not even install it Anything I can do to help or is this hopeless?
