Title: multiple actions from one command
Post by: BarryM1234567890 on June 20, 2018, 12:31:42 pm
Hi,

first post, so please be nice even if its a stupid question :-) :-)

Time for bed, therefore i have to ask Alexa to:
turn off lights
turn off socket that controls electric blanket
read my audible audio book
set sleep timer to 20 minutes

How can I do all that with one command instead of four?

Many thanks for any help you can give me :-)

Relatively easily.

Create a custom 'routine'.

I cant give you step by step instructions here but in the Alexa app, in the menu go to Routines...

and it should be self explanatory from there.   You should then get the sort of thing you are looking for.
