Title: Alarm set to Baldwin still a ringtone

alarm will not switch to celebrity message.app shows it has Alec Baldwin but tone remains alarm

Did you create the alarm before you changed the alarm sound? If so, you may have changed the default sound but not the sound for the existing alarms. You need to edit each alarm and use the Alarm Sound option to change the alarm sound for that alarm and then save the changes. I believe this was intentional so that you override the alarm sound on a per-alarm basis.
