Can one dot call another echo dot on the same account?

Yes.  For example, to call from echo named Kitchen to one named Family room, just ask kitchen to "call family room".  Easy

like Mike says.  I have 3 dots, 2 Echoes, 1 show and 1 spot.  Name each one after the room they are in.

I can "call kitchen" or "drop-in kitchen" and do the talking I need to do.  Beats yelling across the house.

Some people do the same trick, but send the echo to an elderly parent (and name it something relevant) so as to keep account management simple while getting them easy access.
