Title: Why CAPTCHAs have gotten so difficult
Post by: mike27oct on February 11, 2019, 02:54:39 pm
Last week when making a purchase at Google Store I got stopped by CAPTCHA and could not complete my order. L called the store for help and got some.  The Google employee told me he has had the same experience and told me his solution and it worked.

He said ro open an Incognito tab using 3-dot menu in my CHROME browser, fill out my order again and when ready to submit order I would bypass CAPTCHA and could finalize my order.  My Ethernet adapter for Chromecast was shipped!

I haven't had any problems with Google's captcha. Just that sometimes it keeps wanting me to click store fronts over and over until it's satisfied that I'm human. But I always have problems with Microsoft's. It usually takes several tries before I can get through Microsoft's captchas.
