Title: Alexa app for echo Dot not identifying my new Zoweetek bluetooth speaker
Post by: watashi on April 08, 2017, 07:11:07 am
I follow instruction to "pair" my new bluetooth speaker with echo dot.  But when I  click on " Pair a New Device". it takes me to the Bluetooth Setup Screen (Available Speakers), but my Speaker (ZW-BSP03) is not listed.  It says "Searching", but never finds the speaker, Even though I have the speaker set in "pairing mode".  Can someone help me please....thank you

When you setup another BT speaker or a first one, the speaker does not show in the Alexa app list,  so look further down the screen for set up a new device and it should be there.

Also try this: tell Dot to "pair bluetooth" then turn power on speaker for pairing mode and start looking for it as described above.  Setting up BT can be tricky at first, so keep trying.
