Title: Why do some music requests include additional artists?
Post by: Bucephalus on December 26, 2016, 05:47:52 pm
When I say, "Alexa, play The Rolling Stones" for example,   the Echo plays only the Rolling Stones.  When I say, "Alexa, play Bach" (or Beethoven, or Mozart, etc.) it shuffles my request in with a contemporary artist, too.  What gives?  Thanks

What was the contemporary artist? Could it have been a piece by Bach, or maybe Sebastian Bach, or another Bach? Just curious here.

George Winston / John Tesh, etc. , not playing Bach pieces.

Because only Rolling Stones can play Rollings Stones. Any orchestra can play Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, etc. If you want a specific one, you could ask for "Beethoven by xyz symphony orchestra" or something like that.
