Hi.
So I bought myself an echo dot. I myself live in the Netherlands.
So I tried to look up the nest skill in the Alexa app. It didn't show up, turns out it's not available because of geographical restrictions.
Does anybody know a workaround for this?
I'm building myself a smarthome and I want Alexa to run my place. But that won't work if I can't even enable the nest skill on my echo dot.

Change the location to US. I dun see any major benefits of putting actual non-US address

Ditto. I changed location around for a while, settled on US. Local stuff doesn't work anyway, weather is "fixed" these days, US has the most and the newest skills. Especially if you have a Show...

Ok. Cool. Change the location to the us to get all the skills.
But. Will the skills remain enabled once I change the location back again ?
(I'm a newbie, so pardon me asking all the "obvious " questions)
