Title: TV listings in UK
Post by: StevenR on December 09, 2017, 11:12:38 am
Has anybody else in the UK noticed that you can now get TV listings through Alexa?
It seems limited though since, as far as I can tell with my testing, the only channel it will give full listings for is BBC One. Saying "Alexa, what's on BBC One tonight" will give the the programmes on BBC One but any other channel (e.g. "Alexa, what's on BBC Two tonight") will just give a list of top programmes across several channels (appears to be BBC1, BBC2, ITV, and Channel 4).
Has anybody had any different results, are there any other channels which you can get full listings for?

Strangely, it seems that the list of top shows (if you ask for a channel other than BBC One or just "what's on TV") uses less up-to-date listings data than the more detailed listings for BBC One. This is particularly noticeable tonight because when you ask what is on BBC One it tells you that "Sports Personality of the Year" is on at 10:45 PM but the list of top shows has "Drugsland" on BBC One at that time.
