Title: Echo Show "Drop In" Audio Speaker Problem

When I "Drop In"  from my phone's Alexa app to my Echo Show at home we can see each other fine, the Echo Show side can hear me fine, but the phone side's audio does not come through the external  speaker. I can put the phone up to my ear to hear but that defeats the purpose of video calling. Can anyone help?
