Thatís very weird that I'm the only one who is facing this issue.
I tried to solve it for hours with about 15 Amazon agents but no solution.

Anyway I had some progress - I found out that
There are 2 types of Aqara motion sensors:
   1. With hole at the side of the device for the reset button
   2. With a button at the side of the device for the reset button.

The first type is working well with Amazon Alexa
BUT the second type with the side button for the reset isn't working with Alexa - Alexa doesn't see the sensors motions.

I'm approaching Aqara with this issue trying to get solution.

I'm pushing close to 100 devices. It makes it hard to find the ones I want when writing a routine.

I have noticed it too but it is nothing to be concerned about as long as they are working.    I wonder if maybe it is because there was some update on device where alexa sees it as a different device.   I really do not think there is anything you can do about it or the order of your devices.

Amazon Echo Discussion / Alexa app smart home device list

I never could figure out why my smart home devices were not in alphabetical order when I looked under "all devices" until today! I see now that devices listed as "device is unresponsive" is listed first, followed by "new device" then "online" and finally at the bottom, smart home devices with no description listed. My questions are:

Most of the devices listed as "new device" have been on the app for a long time, how do I make them not a "new device"?

Can I get rid of the "online" note under the devices listed as "online" too?

If I could do that, all my smart home devices would be in alphabetical order and make stuff easy to find.

Rename the Kitchen one "Galley" and solve your problems the easy way...

names can be finicky.   I also had problems with hall and kitchen.   I eventually renamed hall to hallway and kitchen to dining room.   A lot of times I found the way you say them can also be an issue.   Maybe too long or even too short of a pause between the command and the name.  It is something you will have to play around with in order to find what works.

The issue is most likely room names that Alexa sees as groups if you must use a room name try naming the devices (room name + heat) like "kitchen heat".

Amazon Echo Discussion / Alexa wont recognise some device names

I am using Drayton Wiser TRV valves on my radiators, with the Wiser Heat Skill. Alexa recognises all the devices and I can see them in the Alexa app. I have 24 devices, 12 of which are radiators.
They can be controlled with saying 'Alexa set the bedroom to 21'. However I always get 'I cannot find a device named xxxx' with Hall and Kitchen. I have renamed 'hall' to 'hallway' and that now works, but I can't think of a good synonym for 'kitchen'. I have tried 'citchen' and 'kkitchen' without success.
I have also tried discovering the device with the synonym name, and then editing the name in the Alexa app. (Eg calling it 'hallway' in Drayton, letting Alexa discover 'hallway' and the editing it to 'hall'. But I still get 'I couldn't find a group or device named hall'.
There have never been any other devices called hall. There was an echo dot called 'kitchen' but I renamed that to 'echoinkitchen'.
Any ideas?

The first thing to note is that the hub is used LOCALLY by your PC but your Alexa devices have to access it via the Internet, like it does for every command, even the simplest of them like "what's  the time". Ask Alexa that when you've lost Internet connection and she'll tell you just that, "I'm having trouble connecting..." etc.

Your best bet is to get this resolved LOCALLY by getting the hub to show as "online" constantly; the issue is definitely with the hub/hub setup and communicating with the outside world via your router and not AWS.

I have downloaded the user manual for the device you said you have, the 994i, and I can have a look through it for you if you still haven't got this resolved but I don't want to go through what appears to be a comprehensive document if you've already got it sorted so please let me know by replying here.
