Title: Simplified phrasing
Post by: Quietpro on November 21, 2019, 11:18:34 am
Surely I'm not the first to ask. When I tried searching the existing threads on a UK forum, I was prompted by my question in auto fill. That was encouraging at first but, unfortunately, that often-searched phrase had zero hits.

So, how do I set up an easy phrase to substitute for a much longer required phrase within Alexa's head (AI, vocabulary, etc.).

I'm trying to replace, "Alexa, ask Harmony to set a sleep timer for 30 minutes" with "Alexa, good night."

I'm flexible on the phrasing if I shouldn't use one of the suggested phrases.

Bonus points if I can add in confirmation that the lights are turned off as well.

if the commands work in a routine, then create one with a short phrase.
