Title: Adapt regular LED bulbs to be alexa complient
Post by: salukitd on January 05, 2018, 11:39:42 am
I am wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to make regular LED bulbs to work with Alexa?  What I am thinking is something small that screws onto the end of the bulb then into the socket.  This little adapter would provide the smart/Alexa/Echo interface.

Oh well...just spitballing!

Thanks,

Pat

You could use either a switch or wall plug that works with Alexa.

Interesting idea but in the meantime I've just replaced my wall switches with smart dimming switches certified to work with Alexa. It works very well this way.
