Hi, does anybody know how to send the shopping list from Alexa (Dot) by email using IFTTT.
I have a IFTTT account created with the recipe enabled and linnked to Alexa, I linked Google.
In IFTTT when I check the Activity Log it says "Action skipped". I have the Dot with a UK account .
In the recipe says "Never run" despite the Check now button works.
Any ideas ?
Thank you

normally you have to ask alexa what is on your shopping list in order to get it sent.

Yes, and Alexa tells me back the contents. It just does not talk to IFTTT to send the email.

News. I deleted the Applet which sends with gmail and created a new one sending with another mail service, the one already inside IFTTT. It worked the immediately.
Then I tried again with gmail and it does not work so ......
I wish I had tried this before.

Interesting, I use gmail without any problems other than taking a long time to receive it. which ifttt app are you using?

"which ifttt app are you using?"
The email app that appears when you create you own applet, the one after Twitter and SMS, at least in my case. gmail appears only in the 3rd row

I just tell Alexa to email shopping list and it sends it to my non gmail email address.
Could look better as items are only separated by a coma.
