Title: How to set a Sleep Timer
Post by: PaulKTF on January 01, 2016, 04:18:30 pm
Here's how to set a Sleep Timer for those interested (copied and pasted from an email I got from Amazon Support):

Good news! We have a sleep timer you can use on the Echo. If you like to listen to music or audiobooks on your Echo when you fall asleep, but don't want Alexa to stream audio all night long, you can set a sleep timer.

To set a sleep timer, say, "Alexa, set a sleep timer for (x) minutes / hours."

At this time, you can only set one sleep timer. Additional sleep timer requests override the current sleep timer in place.

Paul,

Glad you are having fun discovering your new Echo.  It seems that much of what you have posted has been mentioned here already in various threads.  So, take some time and go through all the current threads; you definitely will learn a lot from what is already posted here.
(Your post of the 12 tips and tricks was something new here, and I enjoyed that as well as the the Reddit Easter Egg link in article.)

Yeah, I probably should have checked to see if the Sleep Timer info was already posted in another thread. Sorry about that. :)
