I got an Echo Dot the other day so that I could listen to my Audible books.
Alexa can find and play the books without any trouble, but seems to frequently stop playback at the end of a chapter. I don't have a sleep timer set. I can't find a setting anywhere that would relate to Audible playback.
Is this how it's meant to work?

No, or at least mine doesn't. Not sure I know how to help though - maybe you need to adjust settings in Audible itself via your library page?

You are still under warranty. Take full advantage of it by calling tech support.
Look at the top of this forum area & look for the "stickie" Amazon Echo Customer Support & do the necessary.

I've already been in touch with them. They're stumped.

Contact audible then, see what they say.

Did that too, no solution from them.
This afternoon I returned it and bought another one. It works fine. Makes no sense, but there it is.

Well at least you don't have to go on hunting for a solution to something that you'd never find. Good to hear the new one does the job properly. Thanks for letting the rest of us know, now we don't have to keep looking either :)
