Title: Alexa App new version for gen 6 fire tablets not working

Alexa App new version for gen 6 fire tablets not working. I have had to re-set my tablet twice now. Every time I upgrade Alexa app which I have to do manually. The screen will say Alexa then goes black forever. until I quit it. Please Investigate Thank you.

why are you having to install it manually?   Are you not able to update it via the play store?  Are you downloading the apk file?   Finally what os version is installed?

Just to note, the fire tablet is five years old.   It may be too old for the latest version of alexa.   The alexa app requires the os to be 6 or above.
