Title: Outdoor sound solution using echo dot

So I'm building a deck out this spring and would like to have some sound while I'm out there. I don't want to lug a speaker out with me everytime anyone goes outside so I'm looking for a permanent solution.

Currently, I'm thinking of having an Echo dot that connects to a mini amp which will then wire to two outdoor mounted speakers.

My two problems currently are:

• What kind of enclosure can I get for the Dot and the mini amp that will be weatherproof and can run electrical as well as a 3.5mm cord out of?
• Will the dot be able to hear me through that enclosure?
