Title: Loss of Spotify Playlists on USA Account
Post by: coffenk on March 25, 2018, 08:30:44 am
Hi: Had my Echo Dot set up on my .ca account and had access to my Spotify playlists...no problem. Switched over to a US based .com account to take advantage of the extra skills etc. Works fine, but can no longer access my Spotify playlists. Says cannot find "xxx playlist". Would it be because my Spotify account says it's Canada and my Alexa account now says USA ?
Anyone else experience this and, if so, is there a workaround ?
Thanks !

We have USA Alexa and Canada Spotify , with no issues. Try adding the Spotify skill after you have your Alexa working, I think you have to link it to your account in the set-up. Alexa definitely seems to find playlists and other Spotify commands.

Thanks for the reply and the info. I've had to revert back to my Canadian Alexa for now ... and my Spotify playlists work all ok again. However, missing all the USA skills and Pandora, iHeartRadio etc etc.

Will be switching back to the USA Alexa again so hopefully I can retain the Spotify playlists. Thanks for the tip !
