Title: Selecting British accent elicits British news
Post by: MrNatcheral on February 24, 2017, 10:11:41 am
I love the British female voice, but This Day in History and News of the Day features are often about British historical dates and British personalities.  When I ask to play my local PBS station in late afternoon (to hear All Things Considered), I get a BBC news feed.

How do I keep the British accent, but get news and features customized for American audience?

According to Amazon, news and weather are bound to your device location. The type of voice you choose should not affect it. But you do have a choice on where you want to get your news from. If you chose BBC, then all your news would come from BBC.
