Title: Local drop in (intercom) not working

Hi All,

Having a spot of bother getting local echo to echo drop in working.

I have an echo plus and 2 echo shows. All working well. I can drop in from my phone to any of them. What I cannot get to work is to drop in from one echo to another. Alexa keeps saying device not found.

When I asked it to drop in on myself from one of the echos  (I am in my contacts list) it worked fine and called one of the other echos.

So it’s just the simple ‘Alexa drop in on kitchen echo’ that won’t work from say the bedroom or study echo’s

Can’t think what I could be doing wrong

I have enabled drop in on my own contact and also on each of the echos.

I've had issues with drop-in as well... Have your tried pulling the plug and rebooting the unit or doing a force reset to make sure it has the latest firmware?  Mine fixed themselves when I tried these things.
