Title: Psu Spec.
Post by: mark133 on August 12, 2015, 03:36:41 pm
Could some one tell me the spec of the PSU / power supply i.e. volts, amps and the type of plug on the end of the cable, I ask this as I'm in the UK and wish to source a dedicated power supply and not have to use a travel adaptor
Thanks
Mark

Here you go! I took a picture of the PSU and the barrel connector. I don't know how to measure the connector. I would guess I need calipers to get the exact size.

The PSU says Input: 100-240V ~ 0.6A 50/60Hz  Output: 15V 1.4A

Thanks for that just what I needed, looks like a 3.5mm Jack plug, could I be a pain and ask to to just check that there is no pin in the center of that plug like the Dell laptops have.
Thanks again
Mark

There's no pin inside the center. It's a normal connector. Negative on the outside, positive on the inside.

Cheers for this Mark. What PSU unit are you plugging in into? I imagine you're using a 3 pin UK plug of some sort?
