Title: Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat RTH9580WF to Echo
Post by: frankandsteph on August 14, 2015, 05:07:06 pm
Is there a way, via Wink or directly to have my new Honeywell work with Echo?  I can't figure it out!

Thanks,
Frank

Great forum by the way!

echo currently does not have support for thermostats. i am hoping it will soon though. I have a wink and it does everything but the thermostats.

it would be nice if you could at least have echo see the wink robots or shortcuts but no that would be to easy.

The display is on all the time so hopefully it will last for several years . And I dont think that you can find support for

You might be able to control by setting up HA-Bridge. ;) As long as you knew the web requests to make to the thermostat HA-Bridge would send it.
I believe others have had success with controlling thermostats. ??? ::)
