Finally named timers working in the UK. With this and music sync Amazon are spoiling us in the UK :)

I have found that it works more consistently if you say something like "Alexa, set an egg timer for 3 minutes" rather than "Alexa, set a timer named egg for 3 minutes".

Great news - working fine for me, using “called” rather than “named”.

I have tried both "Set an egg timer for 3 minutes" and "set a 3 minute timer for eggs" and they both work well

Using "called" has done the trick. Thanks.
