Title: Firestick TV am I screwed?

I just bought the Firestick and it is working on my tv fine. It shows up in the Alexa app but I cant do anything with it. Any help will be appreciated.

Define "I cant do anything with it".

A specific app won't work, the remote doesn't work, a specific command won't work, what?

I called Amazon and they said echo and Firestick do not work together in Canada. But it shows up in the Alexa app. But it doesnt say online or offline.

You may have to set it up as a US Amazon device so it will allow Alexa skills available in the US to work.  This is discussed in other threads in this forum.
