please can you help I have the echo and wondered what I require to play music through other Bluetooth speakers and if they can all play at the same time, or if only one speaker at a time and would they have to be quite near to the echo.

One speaker at a time, put it in pairing mode and ask the dot to pair with the speaker. I'm not sure of bluetooth range, I'd guess around 20 feet. It is 33 feet (10 meters) max.
Edit: This is for the Echo Dot, not the Echo- The Echo cannot output audio.

if you have the echo, you cannot play through another speaker. it is only with the dot you can and it is only one bluetooth at a time.
