How do I get an echo dot to answer the phone?
It's paired with my iPhone via bluetooth. But when the phone rings, the echo dot refuses to accept that there's an incoming call...
Calls work on BT headsets. but the Echo seems oblivious...

can't do it....... yet.... it may be a feature that is added in the future but right now you can call a phone from the echo but not answer a phone paired to it.

That's... Annoying...
However, I can't get it to make outbound calls either. Except some amazon echo proprietary bos.

you have to setup the calling and messaging feature. It will link your address book to the echo and then you can say, Alexa, call XXXX mobile phone and it will call their phone.
