Title: Making calls with the Echo
Post by: BerndInternetfuchs on October 20, 2017, 12:29:09 pm
Can I use the Echo as a phone, viz. at its extension and answer calls through it?

In the forum below, I got contradictory answers.

Thank you for your help.

Yes and no.  It can now make calls to mobile and landlines but not receive them.  It can only receive calls from other Echo devices in your contact list that you've given permission to.  But for $35 you can buy the Echo Connect that will allow you to receive phone calls on  your Echo device

I’ve just received my first Echo. Sorry if threads have been covered elsewhere. I can’t see how to connect to another user for communication. Anyone help. It’s probably obvious......
