Every night at various times, perhaps once every 90 minutes or so, my Echo Show brightens up for only 2 to 3 seconds then fades back to dark.
Its very annoying.
Does this happen to anybody else?
Its does not happen at certain times (i.e. 3:30, 4:45, etc).
any suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks

could be it is brightening up because it sees motion. I have the show 5 in every room and it happens whenever I walk into a dark room

imine is too. not sure how it is exactly done but that is the reason why the lights get bright for a few seconds.

It happened again today at 6:07am. I was awake. No noise in the room. no motion. Just happened. ~2.5 secs. and off.

The varification is a spam deterrent once you have a few posts under your belt you'll no longer have to do the verification steps. Most forums implementing this have a 5 post requirement.

forums have different ways of verification. Not sure what the verification for this forum is since I have been a member before it was in effect or I just don't remember but other forums have captchas, math problems, moderation or just don't allow links for the first so many posts.
