Just got my 1st echo dot and need a bit of help.
Setup---echo, wink multiple wink robots also have ifttt or yonomi but never used either.
here's what I would like to do
Presently have a wink robot to send me email or a text when mail arrives using a Motion sensor in mailbox that senses when the box is opened.
I would like alexa to announce that the mail has arrived.
seems simple but no idea how to do it. Open to suggestions/changes and yes I'm just being too lazy to pick
up my phone and look at my email.

If the echo can see your motion detector, you could set up a routine so that when motion is detected, make an announcement on the echo. I don't use wink so I don't know if the echo can use those devices or not. Good luck!
