Title: Alexa Cannot Understand the Word "Redbone"
Post by: ethan on January 15, 2017, 08:53:59 am
There's a song called Redbone by Childish Gambino that I like, but when I try to get alexa to play it she thinks I'm saying "Red Balloon". Is anyone able to recreate this issue and offer tips on a solution?

It's not just you -- I can't get Alexa to play that song. Oddly, "play Leon Redbone" presents no problem.

Plays OK for me in Spotify. Awful track, though.

Try the Voice Training option which is on the Alexa app.
