How do i send a command from echo #1 to echo #2
« on: October 25, 2016, 12:49:08 pm »
I am sat in my front room next to "dotty" #1 and i want to set a wake up alarm to "dotty" #2 which is (you guessed it) next to my bed. Surely there has to be a way to tell alexa to set alarm on dotty 2 for 8am from dotty 1? They are both reading from my amazon account where all the alarms reside.

Any ideas peeps?

Once you tell an echo to set an alarm, you can edit, turn on or off through the app.

Get a remote and pair it with just that Dot?

yep.  think about it, if you can pair it with more than one,  anytime you use it, all the dots you have paired with it would respond  :-)

That's my solution for the moment anyway. I paired my remote with the Echo and then the Dot but once it had both, it didn't activate either! It's a work in progress, I think.
