Shopping list

Hi. I’ve just acquired and Echodot and added 44 items to my shopping list. It is supposed to sort the list into categories but it doesn’t. I’ve logged out and back in again, and I’ve deleted and reinstalled the Alexa app but still the list remains in the order it was entered. Can anyone help please?

in the top right corner of the list, NOT the top of the screen, you should see five lines with an arrow pointing down.   click on it and you can change the sorting and groupling settings.
