What's inside the Echo
« on: June 23, 2015, 04:28:00 pm » has a good article on taking apart the Echo. It's very detailed and perhaps it can give some ideas for hardware hackers to enhance its capabilities. I recall someone from this forum asking about the possibility of extending a microphone from the Echo to another room, and also adding a audio output jack to the back of the Echo.

I saw that yesterday, but I just couldn't bring myself to read the whole thing. With each new bit pulled off of, or out of, the Echo, I found myself cringing and thinking, "No! No! Don't hurt her!"  :'(
