I speak in a clear voice but Echo she can't understand the question. Weather and time is about all she knows. So do I need to up load something because I did an install yesterday to get her on my network?

What do you mean by, "I did an install yesterday to get her on my network"?

Just out of curiosity, us English not your primary language?  If so, do you speak it with an accent?  That could well be tripping Alexa up.

you really are not saying what you are using the echo for.  do you have any home automation devices connected to it, like lights, thermostat, other?  If so, are you using the same login info on your new modem/router?  If not, then try the voice training on the echo.
